Humility is necessary.
Point. Blank. Period.
I don't know a lot of people who can truly take humility and actually move forward with their life without getting the word or proving the other party wrong.
Over the last 3yrs of my life has been the prime example of humility. I had so many people tell me how I am better than them because of the humility I faced from having a man prefer a younger woman to having my own child prefer to live with a dad based on the money in his bank account. When I used to hear women tell me "Girl, you better than me", I honestly took the words they say as an insult because rather they believe it or not, they were pretty much calling me weak. However, in reality its strength. I believe the moment anyone gets the notion that they must have the last word to say or do something out of revenge show the lack of restraint and how you still have ALOT of growing to do. Yes, I could've been more vindictive and seek revenge from my ex but how would that help me? I could've forced my daughter to stay but how would she realize what kind of father he really is?
I say all this, humility is good quality to have. Humility is defined as freedom from pride and arrogance. Humility is the closet action to Jesus, and I rather have humility any day for the rest of my life. I believe humility is true strength because it's an action that put self-less and put others first who actually needs it. Those who needs the last word to prove themselves righteous, is actually a sign of weakness. Not every action requires reaction and not every action requires an action. I am just writing my thoughts out loud until next time enjoy your evening. Remember this: listen and slient shares the same letters (FYI, I saw it on meme, and it makes a lot of sense).
